History

Canada Forgings Inc. is a Canadian owned custom forging producer founded in 1912. The company operates two plants on 8-1/2 acres of land in Welland. We supply quality forgings to companies across the USA and Canada.

Our two plants make CanForge unique among North American forging companies, because we can supply all segments of the forging market.  One plant produces closed die forgings; the other, an open die plant, features one of Canada’s premier facilities for the manufacture of seamless rolled rings.

Our strategic position in the Niagara Peninsula provides CanForge with overnight delivery to Canadian customers and easy access to our American customers through both Buffalo and Detroit points of entry.

The strength behind CanForge success has been our people who continue to react to market conditions. The result of this evolution is demonstrated by our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with quality products that meet and exceed their requirements.

CanForge produces high quality, specialty forgings for the most demanding and sophisticated engineering applications for wide range of industrial applications, covering aerospace, nuclear, power generation, energy exploration, pipeline, off-road transportation, mass transit and military markets. Our customer base features US based companies such as Pratt & Whitney, General Dynamics, Alstom/Areva, General Electric, Siemens Westinghouse, Atomic Energy, BF Goodrich, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Jered Industries, etc.
